In San Diego County, most owners elect to have their beloved dog or cat cremated, although some elect to have their beloved companion buried at home where permitted by law. We can assist you with all aftercare arrangements, even if we do not perform the euthanasia.

What To Expect From Our San Diego Pet Memorial Services

We offer an aftercare service when your beloved pets die naturally at home in San Diego, CA. During this difficult time, we can come to your home and assist with the after care option of your choice.

Biodegradable Urns

Biodegradable pet urns are specifically designed for burial and do not come with a nameplate. Cedar or acacia urns are encouraged for display. Scatter tubes are also available. Your pet’s ashes will be returned to you in one of our urns, along with a fur clipping and clay paw print, so you can process your grief, celebrate the life of your pet, and never lose any memories.

Memorial Add-Ons

• Clay Paw Print: Clay Paw Prints are made with white oven-baked clay, can be round or heart-shaped, and include your pet’s name. One clay paw print is included with Individual cremation. Price: $35
• Ink Paw or Nose Print: Ink Paw Prints and Nose Prints are made on cardstock and are perfect for framing photos or using as a template for a tattoo. Price: Starting at $25
• Fur Clipping: Fur clippings are placed inside glass vials with a cork. One fur clipping is included with Individual cremation. Price: $10
• Clay Paw Print Christmas Ornament: Christmas Ornaments are with oven-baked clay and can be round or heart-shaped. Price: $35

Home Hand Delivery

We understand that sometimes it can be too difficult to pick up the cremated remains of your beloved animal. We can provide a home hand delivery for an additional $100*. Deceased pet pick-up service starts at $75*.

Private Viewing Options

We are grateful to accommodate any family who wishes to have more time with their pets before their cremation or burial and offer two different experiences, including:

• Private Viewing Memorial (front office only) $150: Up to one hour of time with your companion in our comfortable Escondido crematorium. Your animal will be prepared for your visit, wrapped in a cozy blanket with compassion and adorned with fresh flowers. 
• Private Viewing $250: Up to one hour of visit time in our comfortable cremation office. Your pet will be prepared for viewing, wrapped in a cozy blanket with compassion, and adorned with fresh flowers. At the end of the hour, you and your beloved pet will be guided into our cremation warehouse, where you can place the remains into the aquamation machine if you choose. You can also have one of our staff members do this if you prefer.

 

*Disclaimer: Sometimes, it is impossible, despite our best efforts, to acquire a lock of fur. In those rare instances, we will notify your family of this prior to receiving the remains of their pet.
