Comfort at home and quality of life is the goal of pet hospice or comfort care at home, just as it is for traditional human hospice. We want our pets to live as well as possible in the home that they are comfortable in.

The holistic approach to end-of-life care is what is most important to us here at Paws Into Grace. Identifying and coordinating symptom management priorities and keeping true to your goals for your pet are our focus for in-home Riverside pet hospice, also known as comfort care.

Research has shown that pets who are entered into a comfort care program typically live longer under this type of compassionate care than if they were in a curative treatment program.

As an added benefit, you will be able to extend the amount of time you spent with your beloved pet as they enter the twilight of their lives.

Riverside County Pet Comfort Care Consultation

If you are considering comfort for dogs, cats, or another pet, we provide a comfort care consultation. Our 1.5 to 2 hour consultation includes a Quality of Life Assessment in addition to formulating a medical plan to give palliative care for your Riverside pet.

We are open seven days a week, and do not charge any extra fees for weekend or same-day appointments.

We get that this a challenging time to say the least, so we aren’t in the business of “nickel and dime-ing” our clients for having a pet emergency.
