In Memory of Toby

Toby’s heart stopped suddenly yesterday and he is missed beyond belief. He was my constant adorable beloved companion for the past 15 years and 8 months. He was running around and being his normal funny puppy-like self just the day before. Nobody thought he was 15 with his energy. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved running on the beach and swimming. He loved to explore and run through the woods and play in the snow. He loved me and I cherished him. I hope he’s with my mom who passed last month. My heart is broken💔

Dr. Benson started Paws into Grace in 2007. She wanted to give pets and their parents a beautiful last encounter that didn't have to be in an unfamiliar office where pets were often frightened. The empathy she shows each family creates a lasting impression on them. In her free time, Dr. Benson enjoys running and spending time with her family, dogs, cats, and chickens.
