Dr. Veronica P. Brecht graduated from Western University in 2007 and completed her small animal internship at VCA Emergency and Referral Center in San Diego. Originally from the great state of Texas, she moved to California to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Throughout her many years in clinical practice, Dr. Brecht has come to deeply understand the importance of allowing families the opportunity to say goodbye to their beloved companions in the comfort of their own home. She is dedicated to making each pet’s final moments as peaceful, gentle, and comfortable as possible.
In her free time, Dr. Brecht enjoys spending time with her three boys, two dogs, one crested gecko, and her 38-year-old African grey parrot. When she can carve out time for herself, she loves running along the beach, riding her Peloton, and exploring the outdoors on scenic hikes.
