Check Out Our Article In the San Diego Tribune: “Home euthanasia allows pets to pass on in peace”

At Paws Into Grace we have dedicated our practice to the comfort and the transition periods that can be so difficult for families.  We we so honored to be a featured article about the transition of one of our furry clients Enzo.  During what could be a very painful time, our staff is focused on the comfort of both the furry and non-furry clients as well.

Preview of the article “On his final day this May, Enzo, 10½, dined on chicken, hamburger and ice cream. He was given a Reiki (therapeutic massage) treatment. He lay on his bed in his favorite backyard spot with owners Gene and Dana Foreman by his side and his constant buddy, Rocky, a little gray poodle mix, snuggled next to him.”

Dr. Benson started Paws into Grace in 2007. She wanted to give pets and their parents a beautiful last encounter that didn't have to be in an unfamiliar office where pets were often frightened. The empathy she shows each family creates a lasting impression on them. In her free time, Dr. Benson enjoys running and spending time with her family, dogs, cats, and chickens.
