Born and raised on a ranch in Louisiana, she began working with and learning from animals before she could even walk or talk. San Luis Obispo was her home for four years while she attended Cal Poly, earning her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, and she later attended veterinary school at UC Davis.

Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of species as a zookeeper, marine mammal trainer, and veterinarian. She is a certified Fear Free practitioner and is deeply passionate about end-of-life care, ensuring the most peaceful and respectful transition possible for each family and their beloved pets.

In her free time, she enjoys trail riding, water skiing, hiking, and traveling. She shares her life with two incredible senior rescue pups, an orange kitty, and a very special horse who takes her on beautiful trail rides through Penasquitos Canyon. Each year, she is grateful to spend time in the Adirondack wilderness of upstate New York, enjoying lake life and time with family in the forested outdoors. She is also a Fear Free Elite Certified Professional.
