Dr. Courtney Mills is originally from New York, where she attended both undergraduate school and veterinary medical school at Cornell University. After graduating veterinary school in 2016, she moved west, first practicing in Colorado, and finally landing in San Diego.

Her early experience as an emergency clinician and general practitioner helped her to realize the importance of complete and compassionate end of life care. Dr. Mills believes that the best end of life experience for our pets is often created by being surrounded by their loved ones in the comfort of their own home.

Dr. Mills loves to spend time in downtown San Diego, where she lives with her partner and their border collie mix, Delilah. In her free time, she also practices Yoga, and enjoys cooking and hiking.
