How it works

What happens next.

You don’t need anything figured out before you call. Here is how Paws Into Grace cares for your pet, one step at a time.

  1. Call or request an estimate

Tell us about your pet, and our team will walk you through your options and pricing. We can help even if we didn’t perform the euthanasia.

  2. Bring them in, or we come to you

Drop off at our Miramar office by appointment, or we can come to your home and bring your pet into our care.

  3. In our care the whole time

Your pet stays with Paws Into Grace through our own gentle aquamation process, with a careful tagging system and individual handling.

  4. Coming home to you

With individual cremation, your pet’s ashes return in an urn with a clay paw print and fur clipping. We can also deliver them to you for a fee.

Aquamation is a gentle, water-based alternative to flame cremation, and it returns about 20% more remains to families.

Our Miramar office

A calm place to bring them.

Many families dread walking into a crematory. Our Miramar office was set up to feel warm rather than clinical, with natural wood, soft textures, and a quiet corner made for pets. Our team will walk you through your options and answer every question.

Can you help if another vet performed the euthanasia?

Yes. We can arrange cremation for your pet even if we didn’t perform the euthanasia.

What if my pet passed at home?

Call us at (619) 878-8753. We can come to your home and bring your pet into our care, and we can deliver the ashes back to you for a fee.

How will I know they’re my pet’s ashes?

Every pet is cared for through a thorough tagging system and individual handling process. It’s part of why individual cremation can take a little longer.

Can I still have keepsakes with communal cremation?

Yes. Clay paw prints, ink paw prints, and whisker pendants are all available. Just let our team know when you schedule.

Your options

Two gentle ways to say goodbye.

Both options use our own aquamation process, and your pet is cared for by our team the entire time.

Individual cremation

Ashes come home to you in an acacia, mango, or cedar wood urn, or a biodegradable urn, with a clay paw print and fur clipping included. From $295.

Communal cremation

Pets are cared for together, and ashes are respectfully scattered at sea. Ashes aren’t returned, and there’s no viewing. From $195.

Add-ons include extra clay paw prints from $45, ink paw or nose prints from $30, and fur clippings from $15. See memorial keepsakes. And when you’re ready, our grief support resources are here for you too.

Communal cremation

Scattered at sea, with care.

Our partner, Oceans of Love, scatters communal ashes at sea in a way full of dignity, love, and care, and safe for the environment. Because pets are cared for together, ashes aren’t returned, and communal cremation doesn’t include a viewing, ceremony, or memorial service.

We can still provide keepsakes, like clay paw prints, to honor your pet. Just let our team know when you schedule.
