Bryn Hoffman grew up in a small town in Northern California. Her family indulged her love of animals from a young age, and many four-legged family members found their way into the household. After obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science from Cornell University in 2005, continuing on to veterinary school seemed the natural course.
She obtained her veterinary doctorate from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2010. She then went on to complete an emergency and specialty medicine internship in Los Angeles and a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Virginia Tech.
During several years of practice as an Internist in specialty hospitals in Northern California and Orange County, Dr. Hoffman saw the importance of helping pet owners decide on when to transition to palliative treatments and in allowing them the opportunity to say goodbye to their pets in a peaceful and dignified manner when the time was right. This led her to make the career transition to guiding owners through the end of life journey with their pets.
Dr. Hoffman lives in San Diego with her two dogs and two cats. During her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, watching movies and spending time with her family.
